海外映画やドラマなどではアルコホーリクス・アノニマス（AA）のミーティングで一定の期間 断酒できた人にメダルを進呈するシーンをよく見ます。（『エレメンタリー ホームズ&ワトソン in NY』『ドクター・スリープ』等々）グループによって違うのかもしれませんが、参加初日にまず「断酒に取り組む」という決断そのものを賞してメダルがもらえるのは、すごく良いなと思ってるんですよね…。特に自分が向き合いたくないことについてそれに取り組むと決めるということがまずしんどいことなので。

作中のHuskは多分断酒や更生に取り組む気はさらさらないと思うのですが、Charlieの働きかけでちょっと心が動いて欲しいなという気持ちと、アルコールへの依存を増長して自尊心を削るイネイブラーとしてのAlastorの不健全な力関係を描きたいなと思いました。Alastorは取引を持ち掛けて相手を喜ばせた後に、もう一度地獄に突き落とすことが大好き。

In overseas movies and dramas, medals are generally given to those who have stopped drinking for a certain period of time at the Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Rally. ("Elementary Homes & Watson in New York", "Doctor Sleep", etc.)
Those who attend the meeting will receive a medal on the day they first attend.
I find it very difficult to decide to tackle something oneself don't want to face, so it's commendable to be determined to tackle the problem.

I don't think Husk  is willing to work on alcohol abstinence and rehabilitation, but I think Charlie's efforts have saved him a little. But Alastor is an enabler who increases alcohol dependence and destroys self-esteem.I wanted to draw that unhealthy relationship. 
Alastor loves to push him into hell again after he offers a deal to please the other person.
